2025 Rally Finland

Amid the dramatic forests of central Finland, where gravel tracks carve through endless pines, sunlight alternates with sudden showers, and colossal jumps hurl cars into the sky before roaring crowds of devoted fans, the 2025 Secto Rally Finland was a festival of speed and passion. Local hero Kalle Rovanperä finally sealed his long-awaited home victory with a record-breaking average of 129.9 km/h, spearheading a breathtaking Toyota clean sweep as Takamoto Katsuta and Sébastien Ogier joined him to lock out the podium. The dominance extended beyond the top class: Toyota also prevailed in Rally2, leaving every rival manufacturer in its wake. While the result underlined Toyota’s total supremacy on the fastest rally of the year, the weekend also delivered drama as championship leader Ott Tänak was hit with a five-minute penalty after a scrutineering incident, allowing Elfyn Evans to retake the points lead, now just three clear of Rovanperä. A rally of spectacular scenery, unpredictable skies and unrivalled Toyota strength, Finland once again confirmed its status as the true spiritual home of rallying.
